CLAY SHOULD HAVE WON. PERIOD. Ruben, all though he has a nice voice, does not look or sound like the American Idol. I thought Ruben was 'okay' before, but now I HATE HIM. I will NOT buy his albums, and I will not support him. I'm not racist, and not anti-large people (I'm inbetween fat and thin XD!!), but there is just something to Ruben that hits me that says 'He shouldn't have won'. I really don't know what, or I would have said so. I said the F word about a Million times along with my Mum. Most people in the TAMPA BAY AREA said they wanted Clay to win, but the General state of Florida said yes to Ruben. WHY? What is so attractive about an obese guy who has subtle flaws in his singing? Nothing. America has made another Horrible decision. People seem to forget that they are looking for an IDOL- Idol, meaning a good-looking, nice young person whom teens and young kids could say, "Wow, I want to be like him or her." Ruben can support a musical idol, but not in a social overall. Some people are so obessed with celebrities that they move from one celebrity to another, dramatically changing their lives, bodies and fasions to be in sync with the celebrity. (NOT EVERYONE DOES THIS. Just psycho people, but still, those psychoes are "people" XD)What do you think? Ruben almost doesn't fit the bill of an Idol to represent America in it's musical society, and certainly doesn't fit the bill overall. Ruben is a good guy, and deserves a record label, and should bring out CDs. But not to win a crown of being a represenative for the American musical society. To be an idol, you must have an image, but more imortantly, talent. If you don't have image or talent, I think you cannot be an American Idol. What do you think?
