when the world is green
when laughter fills the air
and lies are caged, unable to escape the lips
and harsh words fall upon deaf ears.

when love is really all you need
and happiness is in all souls
and no longer a mirage in the barren desert of earthly life.

when success is not measured by money
by property
or by the material world
that taunts us with its false promises
but by how much one person can give to another
in intangible gifts.
Never wake me up....
unless when I wake I may walk with my father
in the peaceful garden of my distant past.
