To be honest, this place never went anywhere. I just simply forgot about it!
Yesterday, I was browsing through some files I had backed up from a computer I booted up for the first time in 10 years. It even had Windows ME on it. Anyway, as I was searching through all the old files, I found a link to this forum. At first I figured this whole place was shut down due to inactivity, but boy was I wrong. Here is still stands, a testament to my past self and old friends. It's so retro I love it. I'm falling in love with the concept of message boards all over again.
I can confirm 100% that the original members here are never coming back. We have all went our separate ways. I am no longer apart of those online and offline cliques anymore. I have made different friends and grown a lot since the last post on here in 2005.
Over the last 2 days, I have been fixing this place up, trying to simplify it and give it a much needed face lift. At the same time, I do not want to delete everything. This place is living history! I've left almost everything as it is, only merging some boards and changing some titles/descriptions. For now, I feel that my edits have gotten as good as they are going to get. I'm re-opening JDM to the public again. It's not perfect (however, nothing is), but we will figure it out and patch it up along the way.
