That's awesome.  This board is really old and I'm trying to bring it back. I used to chat with my friends about anime on here back in the early 2000's! XD I'm happy you have you here and I hope you stick around for the revival. I am a musician (both locally and on the internet) and I create other types of art such as webcomics and stories. Awesome. Great info, you are actually 4 years older than me, so it's nice to talk to someone in the same age group.

Anime genres: harem and reverse, Fantasy, Sci-fi, Mech (picky though), Vampires, Demons, Romance, and tear jerker.
Game genres: Sci-fi, Fantasy, open worlds, sandbox, Sims (literally the Sims game), story driven, and adventure driven.
We'll probably be getting a dog, maybe two next winter. Around Christmas, that's when we got our cats.

Have you ever seen the anime Parasyte? It's kind of a horror. I'm not really into horror but it's my favorite!
What sandbox games do you play? I play Terraria, Starbound, and Stardew Valley (if that counts).

I've watched a little of it. I thought it was interesting. Did you know it's a Live Action now?
I watched Attack on Titan. Fingers crossed there's at least 1 more season which gives closure. Don't care if the manga remains ongoing. I want closure! I also watched it's Live Action.
I watched an anime series called Erased and then watched it's Live Action.
The anime I've watched is too many to list...
I have an Xbox 360, Wii, and PlayStation 2. Buut I have to switch them out on my TV. Aand with newer versions coming out everyday mine are dinosaurs. They still work though soo it's all good.
I play Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Zelda, Minecraft, Terraria, Skyrim, Halo, Destiny, Saints Row, Sims, and Metal Gear Solid.
Looks like I put more into games than anime. My next post will be dedicated to anime listing then.

Yes I heard Parasyte was live action, but I haven't seen it yet! I've watched the anime all the way through twice though.
Terraria for console or PC? I have Terraria on Wii U and PC, but it's much better on PC.
I have several retro consoles, as I am more of a retro gamer. NES, Super NES, Sega Genesis, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, N64, PS2, etc etc...
I actually must admit, I don't watch much anime these days. I'm more fond of classic cartoons, like Merrie Melodies, Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, and the like. ^_^

All my games are on Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, or Wii.
I am considering downloading Minecraft pocket edition and buying Ferraris for my phone.
I used to watch...
Sonic X, Digimon (the original one), Inuyasha, Yu Go Oh, Yuyu Hakusho, Sailor Moon (when it was new), DBZ, X-Men, Spiderman, Wolves Rain, Cowboy Bepop, Bleach, Naruto, Full metal Alchemist, Vampire Knight, Death Note, and the list might go on.
I'm trying to get back into Bleach, Naruto, and DBZ. I'm working on Bleach right now. It's a work in progress.
Bleach, Death Note, and Fullmetal Alchemist have Live Actions on Netflix. I watched them and liked them. I'd really like a Naruto Live Action. Don't know if it'll ever happen.
I've yet to watch the Parasyte Live Action. I just saw it around somewhere.
Do you ever watch Japanese Drama shows?

Inuyasha was really fun. I loved the scenery/atmosphere of that one. Yu-Gi-Oh! ... that show was epic because of the card game. I still have all of my cards. I stopped playing as a teenager when a 10 year old beat me in 3 moves. Dragon Ball is amazing.  I'm still trying to catch up on Super and GT. Cowboy Bebop is one of the best ever. Amazing OST. Still need to finish Death Note. Never seen a Japanese drama. Are they good? I've only heard of Korean or Indian dramas, but never seen them. One of my favorite shows is a drama, I think. House MD. I just recently finished it. |

Did you know? Inu is Japanese for dog. Tasha is Japanese for female demon. I'm insulted on Inuyasha's behalf.
I used to look up Japanese words when I was younger. My two favorites are. Hawaii Japanese for Cute. And Bishie Japanese for Beautiful Youth.
Unless your House MD is different from mine. Or switched sides when I wasn't looking. House MD is not a Japanese Drama.
Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist, Bleach, Erased, An Obama: The Flower We Saw That Day, Future Diary, Parasite, and Attack on Titan are all Live Actions aand Japanese, Korean, or Other Dramas.

Lol it's fine. And yes, I know House MD isn't Japanese (I've seen all 8 seasons, lol), it is a drama though. Probably more of a mystery than a drama, but still has plenty of drama in the story. Also I don't know any Japanese. I'll probably learn Spanish before Japanese, but it couldn't hurt to learn both in time.  |
