Alright class! Please be seated! *Whips Quistis's chain whip at his desk.*
Junction is VERY important in Final Fantasy VIII (8) and don't you forget it! If you don't have ANY GF, you, sir, are screwed. Make sure to junction 'Draw' on your character who has a GF. If you fight bosses or mini-bosses, they might have a GF. Kinda like at Dollet Tower when you fought that giant flying dark thingy -- He has Siren (She has really good abilities, so make sure to get them from her when you have drawn her!)
Also, drawing magic from enemies is also important. Try drawing up to 100 Fires from Bite Bugs early on in the game. It'll pay off. Trust me.
I can't really explain it well, but make sure to collect different Magic Stones, draw magic/GFs from enemies, and experiment with your junction. Quistis will explain it to you in the game alot better than me.
This concludes the "Junctioning" session. ;D

O__O;; .......conjunction junction, what's your function? i wish i had a gunsword, but there's really nothing to do with t but kill. it doesnt shoot long range, and it cant cut a loaf of bread neatly (too big), so if they were real they'd probably be banned. i mean,...the purpose of them is to cut a man in half and then blow him into bloody chunks before the blade has time to exit his bowels. then the NRA would be like, "gunswords dont kill people, people using gunswords kill people". and hopefully they'd be allowed for home use, like to defend yourself. "honest, your honor, i was defending myself from a burglar by splitting him in two and painting the inside of my bedroom with his brains in one huge close-range explosion. woah.........those things are so sweeeeeeeeet.

[glow=green,2,300]*coughGunbladecough* Everyone seemed to like FFVII more than FFVIII, but my mind is always different from everyone else. Maybe it was because I didn't die as often in FFVIII that I liked it more or maybe it's because there was an active STORY going on instead of a ton of Area 51 crap that you don't understand whatsoever until they explain it near the last half of the game. I liked FFX..sorta..even if the story was worth less than my K-Mart shoes ;D. I'm seriously hyped about FFXI though...it's supposed to be coming in Q1 of '04. Well..for the PS2 version at least. I'd get it for the comp since it comes out earlier, but I want the game in my room..as the computer is not. SOLO BABY![/glow]

I actually liked the storyline to Final Fantasy VII alittle better than Final Fantasy VIII, but the magic junctioning was alot better in Final Fantasy VIII than Final Fantasy VII (Unless i'm not good at Final Fantasy VII) Though...Why did Aeris have to die...?

Ya'll seem interested in FF7 and 8... Who here remembers the classics? Like the no named chars in FF1, or the class changing in ff3 and 5? or even the incredible complexity and difficulty of FF6 and 2. That was the good ones. the others have no chance to them.

oops, i got cut off there. as i was saying, the clunkiness and difficulty of managing a tiny soullless character as he runs across colorful chaotic smears of color. the no-named characters were ugly and silly looking, the theif guy with huge arms and stuff. oh well, that's just me i guess. the classics might have something special to them, but all i can tell is that they're........old.

The story for FF was always the same. Save the world. you guys may be accustommed to your new age stuff. But the classics were great. A revolutionary battle system and level up system. Where would we be without FF1?

I'm sure I'd liek the older games if I ever got the chance to play them. Maybe I'll ask for them for Christmas! And Hassan feel free to ask me anything about FF7, 8, and 9.
